About Me

Hi! I'm B! My gender at the moment is ????????? and I currently use they/he pronouns. I am also Aromantic and Asexual, but at this point in my life tend to just introduce myself as Queer. I'm usually pretty shy and keep to myself, even online, so I'm not always the most eloquent person. I tend to listen and lurk rather than talk, so creating this website is a fun challenge for me!

I'm in my mid-20s, though I've never quite felt like a "real" adult. While I don't really put too much into astrology, I am a Taurus (I was born on an Easter Sunday, actually). I'm not quite sure if that actually says anything about me, but oh well.

I've been dipping in and out of the practice of witchcraft for ten years now, starting with tarot card reading at sixteen and going from there. I've never had a consistent practice or belief structure and I've had a lot of long breaks in-between bouts of practice due to mental and physical health reasons. Now that I have an actual diagnosis, some effective medication, and physical therapy I've actually had the energy to do more and think more deeply about what I want out of witchcraft and what I actually believe in spiritually.

Currently I do mostly protection-based magic, the occasional health-related spell to boost my mundane efforts, and divination through tarot. My spells all tend to lean very heavily towards candles and burning things, with the occasional jar spell getting thrown in once in a blue moon. Fire safety is my best friend and the reason that nothing has ever gotten out of hand with all the things that I burn.

My more mundane hobbies include reading, journaling, and playing cozy video games. I have also recently gotten into using fountain pens! I find them quite interesting!
