Get Shit Done Spell Jar

A spell jar for getting whatever needs to get done, done. It's been slightly rewritten. The OG post can be found here on Tumblr.

⋆˖⁺ Components ⋆˖⁺

  1. A sigil(s) related to motivation or getting your task(s) done. Example statements for the base of the sigil include:
    • "I am getting shit done."
    • "I am getting [insert task here] done."
    • "I have motivation to get [insert task here] done."
  2. A piece of paper (color-coded if you wish) to write down the finished sigil on.
  3. Paprika for lighting the metaphorical fire under your butt.
  4. Rosemary to help with remembering the task. You can't do it if you don't remember it, after all!
  5. Shed cat's claw (or the equivalent substitute if you don't have this component easily available) for being able to snag and hold onto those opportunities to get your task done.
  6. Lilac for positivity and peace in getting your task completed.
  7. A yellow candle to seal the jar with yellow wax.

⋆˖⁺ Process ⋆˖⁺

When I created my jar I layered the components as such: paprika --> rosemary --> sigil paper --> cat's claw --> lilac --> yellow wax for sealing. That was what worked for me, but feel free to change things up if different layering will work better for you!
